    ABI Community Services are a specialist brain injury service passionate about providing world class rehabilitation to our clients. Our Auckland service is seeking another experienced and motivated Physiotherapist to join our skilled and supportive interdisciplinary team.

    This would be an exciting and dynamic position, providing person centered rehabilitation in clinic and community based settings across greater Auckland. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to have a musculoskeletal or neurological focus or work across both specialties. The neurological role involves working with clients post mild to severe TBI (including sport and non-sport related concussions), vestibular dysfunction, and stroke. The musculoskeletal role will include assessment and treatment of whiplash and other neck injuries, rehabilitation following a range of other orthopaedic injuries and some training of functional fitness. However as this role is yet to be fully developed you have the opportunity to make this position your own!

    We are looking for a New Zealand registered Physiotherapist with a current practicing certificate. The successful applicant must have strong communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with clients, their whanau and the interdisciplinary team to deliver client centered rehabilitation. A minimum of 2 years post graduate clinical experience is required and experience in fields of neurology, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, orthopaedics, vocational rehabilitation, paediatrics and community rehabilitation are advantageous.
